JOB OVERVIEW

Hello! Our team is growing, and we are looking for a Video Editor to join us.

We need someone who can take our videos and edit them to look great. The videos will be used for our social media pages like TikTok and Instagram. They should be fun and look like they were made by regular people on their phones. If you are a good video editor, we want you to work with us!

What You Need to Have:
Expert proficiency in professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut).

A strong portfolio that showcases your editing skills, especially with short-form social media content.

A sharp eye for storytelling, pacing, and rhythm. You must know how to build a compelling narrative and create emotion through your edits.

Skill in motion graphics, sound design, and color grading to produce a polished, high-quality final product.

Deep understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for various social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts), including vertical video.

Experience working with both provided assets and sourcing high-quality stock footage/B-roll to enhance the story.

This is a full-time job. You must be available to work at the same time as us for at least 4 hours every day (we work in Los Angeles time).

What You Will Do:
You will take our raw video files and edit them into finished videos.

You will add captions (words on the screen), music, sound effects, and graphics to make the videos better.

You will work with our team and use our ideas to make the videos look just right.

You will watch for new styles of videos that are popular online and use those ideas for our videos.

Pay:
We will pay you $4 to $6 for each hour you work.

If you do a good job, you can get paid more after one month.
