We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to help manage its HR administration. Looking for highly organized candidate with keen attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as with the team. Bilingual candidates (English and Spanish) would be ideal.
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time USA)
HR Key Responsibilities
1. Job Posting & Applicant Management
? Maintain and update job listings on Indeed, CareerPlug, and similar platforms.
? Send pre-screening links (Engyj) to all interested applicants and monitor responses.
? Conduct phone interviews and evaluate candidates using the provided questionnaire.
2. Hiring & Onboarding
? Review and verify applicant documents and certifications.
? Schedule in-person or remote onboarding based on document approval.
? After completion of onboarding documents, conduct a full orientation session explaining how the agency operates, expectations, and requirements to remain active.
? Complete all pre-employment checks: background screening, OIG, E-Verify, license and sex offender verification, and I-9.
3. System & Documentation Management
? Create caregiver profiles in Axis Care/In my Team and upload all required documents.
? Track credential expiration dates and ensure all files are up to date in the system.
4. Compliance & Ongoing Credential Maintenance
? Run monthly OIG checks for all active caregivers (540).
? Update AHCA roster biweekly.
? Review caregiver credentials every two weeks and send weekly expiration reminders
