As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled and experience CPA to join our team.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online (QBO), supporting month-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing month-end work papers and financial statements, including consolidation models in MS Excel. You will work directly with internal teams and external clients to provide reliable accounting support.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts using QuickBooks Online
• Manage A/P and A/R, including vendor payments and client invoicing
• Perform reconciliation and review of general ledger and work papers
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Prepare and maintain monthly work papers and consolidation and financial models in MS Excel
• Process payroll entries and remittances (as needed)
• Assist with year-end preparation and coordination with external auditors
• Support GST/HST filings and other regulatory submissions
• Communicate with clients regarding financial information and document requests
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives

Qualifications
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Strong understanding of accounting and tax regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and cloud-based tools (e.g., M365, Wagepoint)
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with clients in the professional services sector is an asset
• Certification as a QBO ProAdvisor is a strong plus
