Role Overview:
We’re hiring a Contracting & Credentialing Specialist to manage provider enrollment and credentialing with payers. You’ll play a key role in expanding access and supporting provider readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Complete and maintain provider credentialing with commercial and Medicaid payers for behavioral health clinicians (e.g., clinical psychologists, speech language pathologists, occupational therapists)
+ Update and manage CAQH, payer portals, and other provider databases
+ Track and manage expirations, revalidation, and application timelines
+ Follow up with payers and resolve issues or delays
+ Support new provider onboarding from credentialing to active status
+ Maintain internal tracking systems and documentation (e.g., application timelines, fee schedules, contracts)
Qualifications:
+ 2+ years experience in provider credentialing, contracting, or payer enrollment (behavioral health strongly preferred)
+ Familiar with CAQH, Medicaid, and payer-specific portals (e.g., Optum, Evernorth)
+ Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
+ Remote-ready, detail-oriented, and proactive
+ Fluent in English; able to work EST or PST hours
