KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Architectural Drafter at MOYA&CO, your role will include:

• Drafting & Documentation
Prepare precise architectural drawings and documentation for residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and design intent.

• Revit Modeling
Use Revit to develop accurate 3D models and 2D documentation, integrating design details, material selections, and construction elements as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

• Drawing Sets
Produce and maintain comprehensive drawing packages including plans, sections, elevations, joinery details, and schedules for permit, tender, and construction purposes.

• Coordination & Reporting
Report directly to the Senior Drafter. Collaborate with project leads, designers, and consultants to ensure drawing accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all disciplines, supporting efficient project delivery.

• Code & Standards
Understand and apply basic building design codes and standards relevant to Australian architecture and interior detailing, ensuring regulatory compliance in documentation.

• Construction Knowledge
Interpret design intent with a strong understanding of construction methods and practicality to ensure buildable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.

• Revisions & Updates
Incorporate design changes, feedback, and markups efficiently while maintaining drawing standards and consistency across all outputs.

• Detail-Oriented Execution
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across all drawings and documentation.

• Project-Based Contribution
This role will begin on a project-based contract with the opportunity to evolve into a full-time position, based on performance and project pipeline.

SKILLSET REQUIRED
• Revit (strong proficiency essential)
• Architectural drafting and detailed interior documentation skills
• Familiarity with Australian design codes and standards (basic level expected)
• Understanding of construction methods and technical feasibility
• Adobe Acrobat / PDF markup tools
• Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (basic project and schedule management)
• Familiarity with BIM documentation standards (preferred)
