We’re looking for a high-performing, detail-obsessed video editor to join our growing YouTube team. You’ll help us produce powerful, professional medical content that educates millions about foot health and builds trust with patients worldwide.
This is NOT a short-term or generic gig. We’re seeking someone serious about growth, aligned with our mission, and capable of owning the video editing pipeline with minimal hand-holding.

Project Type 1: Repurposing Top-Performing Legacy Content
We have hundreds of past videos that still rank well on YouTube. Your job is to refine and re-release these videos by:
- Cutting out fluff, slow sections, or repetitive parts to improve pacing
- Replacing outdated intros or lower-quality visuals
- Enhancing audio clarity using modern tools (e.g. denoise, normalize, EQ)
- Adding relevant graphics, zooms, captions, or b-roll to improve viewer retention
- Preparing the file for upload with a new, optimized title and metadata
Example: Take a 20-minute “Heel Spur” video from 2022 --> Clean it up --> Re-edit to 12 minutes --> Add updated visuals and commentary --> Upload as a “2025 updated guide”
Project Type 2: Editing New Raw Video Content
Our doctor continues to film fresh content weekly. You’ll also be responsible for editing:
- Talking-head medical videos shot on green screen or clinical background
- Long-form patient education videos (8–15 minutes)
- Applying clean cuts, b-rolls, callouts, captions, and subtle motion when needed
- Ensuring every video is clear, medically accurate, and visually professional
Example: A new 12-minute video filmed this week about "Neuropathy Foot Pain" --> You edit it from scratch using our brand style --> Ready for upload
Both project types are essential. You’ll rotate between updating legacy content and editing new uploads, depending on weekly priorities.
You’re a Good Fit If You:
1. Have 3+ years of YouTube editing experience, preferably with health/educational content.
2. Know how to rework long-form videos into more watchable, professional formats.
3. Are proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut (After Effects is a plus).
4. Can enhance footage with b-roll, stock images, zooms, or overlays to keep viewers engaged.
5. Understand basic YouTube strategy: pacing, retention, clean formatting, thumbnail/split-test awareness.
6. Know how to take initiative and make decisions on what to cut/improve in a video without constant handholding.
7. Have reliable internet, organized files, and a distraction-free workspace.
Bonus Points For:
- Familiarity with Storyblocks, TubeBuddy, Geniuslink, or affiliate tracking tools.
- Experience optimizing older content for SEO or re-release strategies.
- Strong written communication skills and progress tracking through Trello or reports.
