Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Web Analytics and Web Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role involves both web analytics and web development responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining web analytics platforms, as well as designing, developing, and maintaining websites. Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and strong experience with WordPress is essential. This role also requires problem-solving skills to ensure websites are functioning correctly, verifying functionality, and performing regular backups. This is a full time job during EST Timezone.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and Configure Google Analytics:
Implement Google Analytics on company websites and applications.
Ensure proper tracking of website traffic, user behavior, and key metrics.
Customize tracking codes to capture specific data and events.
Conversion Setup:
Define and set up conversion goals in Google Analytics.
Implement tracking for key actions such as purchases, form submissions, and other conversions.
Regularly monitor and report on conversion rates and suggest improvements.
Tag Manager:
Manage and deploy marketing tags using Google Tag Manager.
Ensure tags are correctly implemented and firing as expected.
Troubleshoot and resolve tag-related issues.
Integrate with Google Ads:
Link Google Analytics with Google Ads to track campaign performance.
Set up and manage conversion tracking for Google Ads campaigns.
Optimize ads based on performance data and insights.
Web Development and Design:
Design, develop, and maintain company websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
Strong experience with WordPress, including theme customization and plugin management.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring all functionalities work correctly.
Perform regular website backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place.
Knowledge of WPEngine is a plus.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in web analytics and web development.
Proven experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads.
Extensive experience with WordPress and web development technologies.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Preference given to exceptional JavaScript skills
Strong web design skills, including experience with responsive design.
Familiarity with web hosting platforms, preferably WPEngine.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
Other Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Requirements:
