We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team part-time. This role focuses exclusively on crafting video ads for paid social—ranging from short-form (6–30s) to long-form (30–120s) creatives. You will work closely with our Creative Strategist to turn structured creative briefs into visually engaging, high-converting ads for Meta platforms
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Edit and produce short- and long-form video ads using existing assets (video, UGC, b-roll, static)
Follow storytelling and performance frameworks (PAS, AIDA, Problem–Solution–CTA, testimonials, etc.)
Maintain visual appeal while focusing on performance optimization (e.g. scroll stop, pacing, retention)
Create multiple versions and formats for creative testing and platform variations
Implement precise feedback from Creative Strategist and adapt based on performance KPIs
Maintain organized file management, naming conventions, and follow SOPs
Ensure clean delivery of final files (ratios, subtitles, formats for Meta, TikTok, YouTube)
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience as a video editor for paid advertising (portfolio required)
Skilled in editing both short (6–30s) and long-form (30–120s) performance ads
Strong understanding of ad structures and conversion-focused storytelling
Proficient in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, etc.)
Precise, fast-working, structured, and responsive to feedback
Coachable and fast learner – understands instructions quickly and asks the right questions
Basic knowledge of creative KPIs (Hook Rate, CTR, Watch Time, etc.) is a plus
MUST ALSO HAVE:
A dedicated home office setup conducive to professional video editing tasks.
High-speed internet connection (over 50 Mbps).
A high-performance computer capable of handling extensive video editing software.
WORKING HOURS & COMPENSATION
Part-Time Position: ~4 hours per day (Mon–Fri), ideally between 9 am – 1 pm Manila Time
Compensation: $400 USD per month (with room to grow as performance scales)
Long-term collaboration preferred
