# Video Editor (Contract)
We're looking for a talented and creative **Video Editor** to join our team on a contract basis. ## About the Role
You'll be responsible for producing high-impact videos, primarily for LinkedIn ads and various social media platforms. These videos will typically range from **15 to 60 seconds** in length. Your core responsibility will be to transform text scripts and visual examples into compelling video narratives from start to finish.
This is an ongoing contract role, with the potential for weekly video creation for the right candidate. Compensation will be per video or hourly, depending on project scope.

## What You'll Do
* **Edit and assemble video content:** Create dynamic and engaging videos using a combination of b-roll, sourced media, and AI-generated content.
* **Visual Storytelling:** Take a text script and visual references to independently conceptualize and create full videos, including appropriate music, b-roll, and human-led content (either recorded or AI-generated).
* **Source Media & Talent:** Proactively find and integrate relevant b-roll footage, stock media, and human talent (AI-generated, UGC, or hired actors) to enhance video quality and impact.
* **Enhance Viewer Engagement:** Implement engaging transitions, incorporate on-screen text, and add captions to optimize videos for various platforms.
* **Optimize for Performance:** Apply your understanding of what makes videos perform well in ad campaigns and social content strategies.

## What We're Looking For
* **Proven Video Editing Skills:** Demonstrated experience in editing short-form video content for social media and advertising.
* **AI Content Proficiency:** Familiarity with integrating AI-generated visuals and human content into video productions.
* **Resourcefulness:** Ability to independently source high-quality b-roll, stock media, and identify appropriate human talent (whether AI-generated, UGC, or through actor platforms).
* **Creative Vision:** A strong eye for aesthetics, pacing, and storytelling that translates into effective video ads and social content.
* **Understanding of Social Media Trends:** Up-to-date knowledge of current video trends and best practices on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
* **Attention to Detail:** Meticulous in ensuring high-quality output, accurate captions, and seamless transitions.
* **Communication:** Able to understand project requirements from text scripts and visual examples, and deliver videos that align with brand goals.
