The Role:
The MachShip integrations team is responsible for assisting clients with our Freight Management System, troubleshooting issues, and setting up integrations with various platforms. We are looking for new support specialists to help expand this team, and support our NZ customers, provide technical assistance, resolve client issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our support processes.
While you will not be coding, this role is technical and ideal for someone comfortable with APIs, data formats, and troubleshooting system interactions.
Common platforms you would work with are WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, Netsuite, Cin7, Unleashed, Neto, and MYOB.
Core Responsibilities:
- Setting up new integrations via our integrations system
- Troubleshooting integration issues across various platforms
- Investigating API requests using tools like Postman
- Analysing and validating JSON, XML, and CSV payloads
- Mapping data between systems and identifying logic or formatting errors

Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years in a technical support, dev support, or helpdesk role (ideally SaaS)
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce)
- Familiarity with ERP systems like Netsuite or Cin7 is a strong advantage
- Confident with APIs and tools like Postman or browser dev tools
- Comfortable working with structured data formats: JSON, XML, CSV
- Clear, concise English communication—written and verbal
- Patient, thorough, and comfortable working through ambiguity to find root causes
