Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled video editor to join our team and help produce compelling real estate tour videos and highly engaging short-form content. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, professional videos that highlight the unique features and luxury aspects of high-end properties, as well as repurposing long-form content into viral-worthy short clips for social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Edit 2-4 real estate tour videos per week (10-20 minutes each)
Repurpose YouTube videos into 5-10 short-form clips per long-form video
Create highly engaging short-form content (15-60 seconds) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Identify and extract the most compelling
Create smooth transitions between rooms and property features
Color correct and enhance footage to showcase properties in their best light
Add professional titles, property information overlays, and contact details
Incorporate background music that complements luxury real estate content
Create engaging thumbnails for social media platforms
Sync audio narration with corresponding visual footage
Add subtle motion graphics and text overlays for property details (price, square footage, features)
Add trending music, sound effects, and dynamic text animations for short-form content
Create hook-driven openings and compelling calls-to-action for maximum engagement
Maintain consistent branding across all video content
Deliver final videos in multiple formats for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram,
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of video editing experience
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, AND Final Cut Pro (required)
Proven experience creating viral short-form content with high engagement rates
Understanding of social media trends, hooks, and what makes content shareable
Ability to identify and extract the most engaging 15-60 second clips from longer videos
Experience with color grading and audio synchronization
Understanding of real estate marketing and luxury property presentation
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
Reliable internet connection and ability to handle large video files
Experience with YouTube and social media video formats
Portfolio demonstrating similar work (real estate or luxury content preferred)
Portfolio must include examples of short-form content with engagement metrics
Preferred Qualifications
Experience editing real estate or architectural content
Knowledge of motion graphics and text animation
Familiarity with Photoshop for thumbnail creation
Understanding of SEO-friendly video titles and descriptions
Experience with drone footage editing
Knowledge of different aspect ratios for various social platforms
Understanding of TikTok and Instagram Reels algorithm and trending formats
Experience with trending audio, music selection, and sound design for short-form content
Knowledge of viral content strategies and engagement optimization
Technical Requirements
High-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps upload)
Professional video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite AND Final Cut Pro)
Reliable computer capable of handling 4K video editing
Available during some overlap with PST business hours for communication
