The Ad Firm is a Digital Marketing Agency based in Southern California, catering to clients nationwide. We’re expanding our team and seeking a Social Media Specialist to execute social media strategies for our clients in alignment with their business goals, encompassing content writing, scheduling, community management, and reporting for social channels. The position will own all content creation, asset creation, publishing, and coordinating with cross-functional tea ---------- mbers for approvals. To be eligible for this role, you must have experience working at a marketing agency and possess a minimum of two years of experience, handling multiple projects simultaneously.

The Ad Firm is offering a remote position with workdays from 8 am to 5 pm PST, with the potential to switch to flexible hours after the initial probationary period. Since 2009, we have been a digital marketing agency that consistently helps our clients' companies grow online. Our team has won numerous awards for our output work and the positive work environment we cultivate. We specialize in helping companies grow and monitoring the success we bring to each client.

About the Role

As our Social Media Marketing Specialist, you’ll take the lead in managing, creating, and optimizing content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more. You’ll collaborate closely with design, copywriting, and strategy teams to turn ideas into high-performing campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who understands both the art and science of social media, equally skilled in creative storytelling and performance marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute content calendars across all relevant platforms
Create engaging, on-brand social media content (posts, reels, stories, etc.)
Monitor performance and adjust campaigns based on analytics
Grow and manage online communities, responding to messages and comments
Stay ahead of trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates
Work with paid media specialists to support boosted content and ad campaigns
Report on KPIs, follower growth, and engagement metrics

What We're Looking For

- 2–4 years of experience in social media marketing and content strategy
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills
- Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, Canva, etc
- Comfortable interpreting analytics and adjusting strategies accordingly
- Knowledge of paid social is a plus 
- Email marketing experience is a plus 
- A genuine interest in trends, digital culture, and what makes people click
