As the first voice a potential client hears, the Legal Services Intake Specialist plays a critical role in our client experience. You will serve as the bridge between individuals seeking help and our Legal Services Salesperson by qualifying leads, pre-screening cases, and scheduling consultations. You are not just answering phones — you are helping people move from chaos to clarity.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls,
Conduct pre-screening interviews using firm-specific intake criteria to determine service alignment
Accurately and compassionately assess the legal needs of prospective clients
Schedule qualified consultations directly to the Salesperson’s calendar
Input and update client information into CRM or case management systems with detailed, accurate notes
Follow up with leads who have not scheduled or who missed appointments
Ensure all potential clients receive pre-consultation information and are fully prepared to meet with the Salesperson
Maintain knowledge of the firm’s practice areas and evolving services
Collaborate closely with the Salesperson and marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and trends
Ideal Candidate
Experience in a law firm, legal call center, or intake role preferred
Professional phone presence and strong interpersonal communication skills
Able to manage multiple conversations and inquiries with empathy, accuracy, and efficiency
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Comfortable working with CRM and calendar management software (e.g., MyCase, Clio, Salesforce, Calendly)
Driven by clear goals and understands the importance of converting inquiries into scheduled consults
Bilingual (especially Spanish) is a plus
