Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Amazon Account Health & Catalog Specialist to ensure the integrity, compliance, and performance of our product listings on Amazon. This role requires expertise in account health monitoring, troubleshooting listing issues, catalog optimization, and flat file updates. The ideal candidate will proactively address account health concerns, optimize product pages, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurring issues.
Key Responsibilities
Account Health & Compliance Management:
* Monitor the Amazon Account Health Dashboard to identify potential risks and policy violations.
* Take proactive measures to maintain a healthy account status and prevent suspensions.
* Address performance notifications, intellectual property claims, and compliance issues promptly.
* Organize and track case logs systematically to ensure efficient issue resolution and follow-ups.
* Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Amazon Seller Support and ensure timely resolution.
* Notify the Shop Manager and Team immediately if issues require additional guidance, expertise, or escalation.
Product Page Audits & Catalog Maintenance:
* Conduct comprehensive product page audits two to three times per week to ensure:
* Images are correctly displayed and not missing.
* Bullet points, descriptions, and variations are visible and formatted properly.
* Browse nodes are correctly assigned for proper categorization.
* Pricing is accurate and updated.
* Unauthorized sellers or hijackers are not present—report immediately if detected.
* Ensure all product attributes, including SKU, UPC, ASIN mapping, and backend keywords, are accurate and optimized.
Listing Issue Troubleshooting & Resolution:
* Identify the root cause of listing errors, suppressions, and ASIN deactivations and implement long-term solutions.
* Resolve stranded inventory, suppressed listings, and variation relationship errors using manual fixes and flat file uploads.
* Maintain a detailed log of listing issues and resolutions to improve efficiency and prevent recurring problems.
* Ensure transparency in reporting errors while actively finding solutions to minimize disruptions.
Flat File Uploads & Bulk Updates:
* Upload flat file updates for bulk product updates when necessary, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Amazon guidelines.
* Manage and optimize parent-child variations, product attributes, and category templates.
* Regularly audit listings to prevent discrepancies in pricing, descriptions, or product details.
Content & Image Management:
* Upload and update high-quality product images and A+ Content when needed, ensuring compliance with Amazon’s image requirements.
Performance Tracking & Process Improvement:
* Maintain detailed records of case logs, listing errors, and account health metrics for performance tracking.
* Generate reports on catalog performance, pricing issues, and Amazon policy updates.
* Stay updated on Amazon’s latest policies, algorithm changes, and category-specific requirements to implement best practices.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience managing Amazon Seller Central with a strong focus on account health and catalog management.
* Expert knowledge of Amazon flat file updates, bulk uploads, and troubleshooting listing errors.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
* Highly organized with the ability to track, document, and manage case logs and support tickets effectively.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with internal teams.
* Experience handling intellectual property claims, stranded inventory, suppressed listings, and Amazon policy violations.
* Familiarity with Amazon’s policies, compliance standards, and best practices for maintaining account health.
