We’re looking for a full-time Video Editor to join our creative team and work on one of our brands. You’ll be responsible for editing high-converting direct response video ads designed for Meta and TikTok. This is not a junior role. We’re looking for someone who understands the psychology of performance ads, has edited for DTC brands, and can start producing sales-focused, short-form content from day one.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Edit high-converting ads using UGC, scripted content, and lifestyle b-roll
- Use ElevenLabs for generating realistic voiceovers
- Create scroll-stopping content using hooks, dynamic pacing, captions, and audio
- Apply principles of buyer psychology and emotional flow to drive performance
- Follow creative briefs, respond to feedback quickly, and iterate fast
- Collaborate directly with our strategists and performance marketing team
Must-Have Skills:
- Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Experience editing direct response video ads (with proof)
- Strong grasp of marketing psychology, emotional storytelling, and platform-native content (TikTok, Meta)
- Fast turnaround time, organized workflow, and ability to deliver polished edits consistently
- Excellent communication and feedback handling skills
- Strong written and verbal English
Bonus Skills (Not Required, But a Big Plus):
- Photoshop skills for static ad asset creation
- Use of AI tools to speed up workflows (e.g., cleanup, transcribing, rough cuts)
- Motion graphics or light animation ability
- Proactive creative input: ability to bring ideas, not just execute instructions
- Starting your application with the word “hook” in caps, so we know you actually read the description
