We’re an innovative Australian company designing custom gear and accessories for the outdoor, hunting, and electronics industries. We regularly develop custom-fit mounts, enclosures, and functional components for 3D printing using high-performance materials (like PA-CF, nylon). We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Fusion 360 designer who can deliver dimensionally accurate, real-world-ready models.
???? Your Role
Turn sketches, ideas, or product references into detailed Fusion 360 CAD models
Ensure all designs are dimensionally accurate and precise for real-world tolerances
Design enclosures, mechanical components, and printable parts (primarily for FDM printing on a Bambu Lab X1C)
Work with us to iterate designs based on field testing and feedback
Prepare models with correct tolerances for press fits, screw threads, and print clearances
Organize project files clearly and deliver STLs or STEP files ready for slicing
? You Must Have
Strong experience with Fusion 360 for mechanical design
Proven ability to design with real-world scale and tight tolerances
Understanding of 3D printing constraints and part strength considerations
Familiarity with 3D printer settings, slicers, and how print orientation affects fit
Good communication and responsiveness
Bonus: Experience designing for nylon, carbon-filled filaments, or rugged use cases
