We are a Los Angeles–based architectural firm looking for a detail-oriented remote professional who brings together architectural drafting, interior design sensibility, and 3D visualization skills to support quality residential and commercial projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation and a creative eye capable of not only preparing detailed drawing sets, but also producing compelling visual content and renderings.
You’ll collaborate closely with our design team to prepare as-built drawings, develop complete construction document sets, and assist in the creation of mood boards, renderings, and conceptual visual content. You’ll also support city submittals and revisions, and uniquely help create photo and video content (AI-enhanced or otherwise) for social media, client presentations, and marketing campaigns.
This is a remote, long-term role for someone committed to quality, creativity, and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and develop projects in 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Revit/Rhino/Sketchup), based on field sketches, site photos, and team guidance.
* Assemble full construction document sets, including: site plans, floor plans, demo plans, elevations, sections, MEPs, schedules, etc.
* Prepare interior and exterior renderings, concept visualizations, and mood boards.
* Integrate AI tools (like Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway, etc.) into concept development, visual storytelling, and marketing content.
* Create engaging photo and video content that showcases design concepts, finished projects, and design process workflows.
* Collaborate on city submittals and address plan check comments.
* Maintain daily communication with your manager and provide consistent progress updates.
What We’re Looking For:
>>> 5+ years of experience in architecture, interior design, or related fields.
>>> Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, with bonus points for Rhino, Enscape, Lumion, or Sketchup.
>>> Professional-level rendering and presentation skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
>>> Hands-on experience in creating creative content (image and short-form video) for social media, branding, or design storytelling.
>>> Familiarity with AI tools for design, visualization, or content creation is a strong plus.
>>> Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow templates, standards, and feedback.
>>> Independent, resourceful, and communicative, able to self-manage while collaborating remotely.
>>> Fluent in English (spoken and written) and proficient in Imperial units (feet/inches).
Bonus Qualifications:
>>> Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (not required if experience is strong).
>>> Familiarity with California building codes, permit processes, and city submittals.
>>> Passion for aesthetics, materials, lighting, and user-centered design.
>>> Interest in marketing, brand visuals, or helping grow the firm’s creative presence online.
>>> Physical model making skills.
