The Opportunity:
We're seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Remote Digital Marketing Manager & Platform Optimization Specialist to take ownership of and significantly enhance our online marketing efforts with the primary goal of increasing sales. This is a pivotal role for a proactive and strategic individual who can leverage a variety of digital tools and platforms to engage our audience, nurture leads, and drive conversions. A key aspect of this role will be the ability to thoroughly understand and maximize the utilization of all available features within our existing and future digital marketing platforms. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our digital marketing, from email and text campaigns to social media and online reputation management, as well as leading a new website project.
Responsibilities:


Email
Marketing (Full Lifecycle Management & Platform Optimization):
Manage all aspects of our email marketing, including strategy development, list segmentation, campaign creation (copywriting and image selection), building and managing marketing funnels, and leveraging all relevant features within our email marketing platform to enhance automation, personalization, and deliverability.
Optimize email campaigns for sales conversion and tailor messaging to different customer segments to maximize engagement and drive purchases, ensuring we are fully utilizing the platform's segmentation and personalization capabilities.
Analyze email performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements, exploring and implementing advanced platform features for optimization.

Text Marketing (End-to-End Responsibility & Platform Mastery):
Develop and execute comprehensive text marketing strategies to engage customers, promote offers, and drive sales, ensuring we are leveraging the full potential of our text marketing platform.
Manage all technical and creative aspects of text message campaigns, ensuring compliance and maximizing effectiveness by utilizing platform features for scheduling, segmentation, and automation.

Social Media Marketing (Growth, Optimization & Feature Maximization):
Manage and optimize our existing Facebook and Instagram presence, fully utilizing all no-cost features to enhance engagement, reach, and community building.
Develop and implement paid social media advertising campaigns to target specific audiences and drive sales, leveraging advanced targeting and ad formats within the platforms.
Research and recommend new social media platforms that align with our target audience and have the potential to increase sales, with a focus on understanding their unique features and how we can best utilize them.
Create engaging and brand-consistent content (text, images, videos) for all social media channels, taking advantage of platform-specific creative tools and formats.
Actively monitor and respond to customer comments and messages across all social media platforms in a timely and brand-appropriate manner, utilizing platform tools for efficient management and response.

Online Reputation Management & Platform Enhancement:
Monitor and respond to reviews on platforms such as Yelp and Google Reviews (and others) in a professional, positive, and strategic manner to improve our online reputation, exploring any platform features for review management and engagement.
Optimize our business profiles on all relevant online directories and review sites to enhance visibility and attract more customers, ensuring we are utilizing all available profile fields and features.
Website Project (New Build - ---------- ) & Platform Integration:
Lead the project to build out a new website for ---------- . This includes planning, content strategy, coordinating with any external developers or designers (if applicable), and ensuring the website is optimized for user experience and sales conversion, with a focus on seamless integration with our other marketing platforms.

Platform Proficiency & Innovation:
Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on the latest features and best practices for all digital marketing platforms we use.
Proactively identify and recommend new ways to leverage existing platform tools and features to improve efficiency, engagement, and sales results.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all digital marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement, with a focus on how platform utilization impacts key metrics.
Utilize data to optimize campaigns, identify trends, and measure the ROI of different marketing initiatives and platform strategies.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with our team in the United States, providing regular updates, insights, and participating in virtual meetings.

Requirements:
Significant experience (3+ years) in a comprehensive digital marketing role with a proven track record of driving sales growth and maximizing the use of various digital marketing platforms.
Deep expertise in email marketing, including list segmentation, automation, funnel creation, copywriting, and performance optimization, with a strong ability to delve into and utilize all features of email marketing platforms.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful text marketing campaigns and a thorough understanding of text marketing platform capabilities.
Strong understanding of social media marketing best practices, including content creation, community management, and paid advertising on Facebook and Instagram, with a knack for uncovering and implementing underutilized platform features.
Experience identifying and successfully leveraging new social media platforms for business growth, including the ability to quickly learn and utilize their unique features.
Proven ability to manage and improve online reputation through review responses and profile optimization, with an understanding of platform-specific tools for reputation management.
Experience with website development projects, including understanding of SEO principles and user experience, and the ability to integrate the website effectively with other marketing platforms.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to adopt our brand's friendly and enthusiastic tone.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed marketing decisions and assess the impact of platform utilization.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
A genuine interest in cycling or an understanding of the outdoor/sports industry is a plus!
Must be comfortable working remotely and communicating effectively through online tools.
Availability to overlap with some Pacific Time (PT) working hours for meetings and collaboration.
