JOB OVERVIEW

Property Manager VA (AppFolio Reporting & Asset Management)

Company: Atlis Real Estate Partners (remote, US-based company)

Schedule: Part-time, 5 hours/day, must work 9am - 2pm EST.

Pay: $800–$1,000/month

Job Overview

We're looking for a detail-oriented Property Manager VA with strong AppFolio experience to support day-to-day management of a 10-unit property and assist with asset management across an additional 300 units in 7 buildings. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience generating and analyzing AppFolio reports, communicates clearly with tenants and property managers, and is highly organized with strong Excel proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

AppFolio Reporting & Analysis: Generate, review, and analyze financial reports, rent roll reports, and maintenance reports in AppFolio; identify trends, discrepancies, or issues and provide actionable insights.

Tenant Communication: Manage incoming tenant calls and emails, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests professionally and promptly.

Rent Collection: Oversee rent collection, ensure timely processing, and resolve discrepancies or late payments.

Maintenance Requests: Track incoming maintenance requests, ensure prompt resolution, and coordinate with contractors as needed.

Leasing Support: Coordinate property showings, process applications, and prepare lease documents.

Asset Management: Support asset management across 300+ units, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of unit performance.

Discrepancy Identification: Regularly review financial and operational reports to catch inconsistencies and report findings promptly.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-have experience with AppFolio, specifically generating and analyzing detailed reports
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants and property managers

Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot discrepancies in financial and maintenance reports

Working knowledge of property management tasks: rent collection, leasing, and maintenance coordination
Strong Excel proficiency

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
