Your Journey With Us
Sprout as part of our growing Filipino finance team and build trust through excellent service. You'll graduate from basic financial records to helping clients make strategic decisions about properly timing new hires, smart expansion, and product launches. Eventually, you'll mature into a financial advisor role, creating comprehensive recommendations that our US-based counterpart will review and validate.
Core Responsibilities
1. Automation & System Integration (Priority Focus)
+ Establish streamlined systems using automation tools like Claude,
+ Integrate financial systems using APIs to eliminate manual data entry (vital)
+ Set up automations for receipt processing, expense tracking, and invoice management
+ Help transition clients from systems like QuickBooks over to XERO
+ Goal: Achieve 84%+ automation before any manual data entry or adjustments
2. Strategic Financial Analysis & Modeling
+ Develop a comprehensive financial dashboard inside XERO
+ Run realistic projections and timelines to key milestones
+ Answer vital business questions such as:
- When can we safely deploy the next product line?
- What metrics must be healthy before opening additional retail locations?
- Should we payroll a wholesale distributor for local grocery routes?
- How many days at what net sales volume will make us breakeven on current floating inventory?
3. KPI Dashboard Development & Reporting
+ Create dashboards with the top 10 metrics that guide companies to success
+ Interlace numbers from all departments to identify profit leaks
+ Distinguish true net proceeds
4. Tax Strategy & Compliance Support
+ Collaborate with American CPA tax advisor
+ Explain the difference between accounting and bookkeeping
+ Note: We do not pay for tax code research—ongoing industry education is your responsibility, Claude can be quite helpful in this regard
5. Client-Specific Analysis
Retail Clients: Inventory planning, location analysis, retail rack rent calculations, week-over-week projections
Commercial Services: Multi-client financial oversight, department segmenting, subcontractor vs. employee status
Technical Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field strongly preferred
