JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Senior React-Native / Expo Developer, to work on an existing Digital Content reading application project based on our existing platform as well as take ownership of the project.

We currently have an Image based content reader with a proprietary DRM protection that is in need of a full time senior developer. This developer will be helping add new functionality in our app including allowing us to create a guided reading experience and the ability to read text based content with audio clips.

This position will be joining our existing team within the Philippines that are working together on this and other products. We expect this developer to be available to work with the team for at least 4 hours from 9pm - 1am Philippines time. This role is for a full time developer.

Requirements (5+ years ideal):
- Software architecture and design methodologies specifically building frontends user interfaces, and client applications
- Deep knowledge of React-Native / Expo and its ecosystem, with at least 5 years experience developing large Javascript and TypeScript applications
- Experience with libraries like Redux, MobX, or Recoil, and a strong grasp on managing complex state across applications.
- Experience in automating the build, E2E testing, and deployment processes using tools such as Fastlane, Selenium, etc.
- Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory management, and optimizing rendering for smoother user experience.
- Strong understanding of integrating APIs, secure data storage, encryption, and adherence to privacy standards
- Extensive experience building responsive mobile applications for multiple platforms and screen sizes
- Experience with JavaScript unit testing frameworks

- Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, debugging and problem solving skills
