Finance & Accounting Manager (Shopify E-commerce)
About Us:
We are a high-revenue Shopify dropshipping company managing 10 webshops and generating millions in revenue across multiple currencies. Our stores operate internationally, processing payments through Stripe and Shopify Payments, while working closely with a Chinese supplier agent for daily order fulfillment and product pricing.
We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager who understands the financial operations of e-commerce and dropshipping, including daily supplier cost verification, multi-currency reconciliation, and financial reporting in QBO.
1. Your Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly P&L statements, revenue breakdowns, and cost analysis in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Order & Payment Reconciliation: Match Stripe and Shopify Payments payouts with actual Shopify order revenue.
- Supplier Cost Verification: Cross-check daily product pricing from our Chinese agent before approving payments.
- Expense Management: Track and categorize expenses via A2x or LinkMyBooks, including supplier and operational costs.
- Multi-Currency Handling: Manage USD, EUR, SEK, and other currency transactions, applying accurate exchange rates and tracking FX fees.
- Supplier & Logistics Payments: Process payments to our Chinese agent, verifying pricing, volume discounts, and delivery fees.
- Contractor & Payroll Management: Handle team payouts and contractor salaries.
- Cost Optimization: Identify ways to improve profitability by analyzing supplier costs and payment processing fees.
- Financial Auditing: Conduct regular checks on financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
- Automation & Tech Stack: Utilize tools like QBO, A2X, LinkmyBooks, Stripe, and Shopify to streamline financial operations.
2. Requirements:
- Proven experience in e-commerce finance management (Shopify & Stripe required).
- Expertise in QBO for bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Experience with A2X or LinkmyBooks for expense and revenue tracking.
- Understanding of Chinese supplier operations, including daily price verification and invoice reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of multi-currency accounting and international payment reconciliation.
- Analytical mindset with great attention to detail for verifying pricing and expenses.
- Fluent English communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and the team.
- Previous experience handling high-volume e-commerce transactions (7-8 figures).
