Role Overview
As a Senior Client Account Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between our agency and our clients. You will oversee client relationships, coordinate digital marketing projects, and proactively identify ways to enhance client success and satisfaction. This senior-level role requires a strategic thinker with outstanding communication skills and a passion for building long-term client partnerships. You will manage projects and teams across various departments to ensure deliverables meet our high standards and client goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Client Onboarding: Guide new clients through a seamless onboarding process, from initial welcome calls to gathering all necessary assets and information. Ensure a smooth transition into our services and set the stage for a strong long-term relationship.
Client Communication: Serve as the dedicated point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients. Respond promptly to client inquiries, provide regular campaign updates, and keep clients informed of project progress. Maintain proactive communication to build trust and address any concerns with timely, effective solutions.
Project & Campaign Management: Oversee the execution of client projects and digital marketing campaigns from start to finish. Manage timelines, deadlines, and deliverables, coordinating with internal teams to meet client objectives. Use collaboration and project management tools (Slack, Basecamp, ClickUp) to ensure every project stays on track and stakeholders are aligned.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve account management processes. Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, communication, and client satisfaction across all touchpoints. Implement best practices that elevate the overall client experience and streamline our workflows.
Team & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional tea
Reporting & Insights: Compile, analyze, and deliver periodic performance reports for client campaigns and projects. Present data-driven insights in a way that clients understand the results and value of our services. Anticipate client questions and prepare information ahead of time to avoid last-minute scrambles.
Client Relationship Building: Strengthen client relationships through exceptional service and personal touches. For example, oversee initiatives like sending thoughtful client gifts or acknowledgments during holidays or project milestones. Ensure clients feel valued and appreciated, contributing to high client retention and loyalty.
Strategic Account Growth: Work with clients to understand their evolving needs and business goals. Identify opportunities to introduce additional Infintech services or solutions that can benefit the client. Collaborate with our sales and strategy teams to upsell relevant services, expanding accounts in a way that provides true value to the client.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience in client account management, client success, or a similar client-facing role, preferably in a digital marketing agency or advertising environment. Proven track record of managing multiple client accounts and delivering exceptional service.
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of digital marketing services (SEO, web design, PPC, social media, etc.) and the ability to discuss project details and strategy with clients.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to convey complex information clearly and professionally to clients. Strong listening skills to truly understand client needs and concerns.
Organization & Leadership: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines. Demonstrated leadership in coordinating teams and guiding projects to completion.
Problem-Solving: Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities; remains calm and solution-focused when challenges arise, with a talent for turning client concerns into opportunities to improve satisfaction.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using collaboration and project management tools such as Slack (for team communication) and Basecamp or ClickUp (for project tracking and task management). Comfortable adapting to new software and platforms as needed to facilitate account management.
Client Focus: A proactive mindset with a passion for client success. Always willing to go the extra mile to ensure clients are happy, goals are met, and value is delivered.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesmanship & Strategic Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to upsell clients on additional services when appropriate, combined with the mindset of a critical thinker and solutionist when addressing client pain points during calls.
Digital Marketing Expertise: Advanced knowledge in one or more areas of digital marketing (e.g. SEO, content marketing, web development), enabling deeper strategic discussions with clients.
Client Retention Strategies: Experience developing or implementing initiatives to improve client satisfaction and retention (such as loyalty programs, feedback processes, or personalized client outreach).
