We are seeking skilled video editors to adapt existing Meta Ads creatives, mainly from US competitors, for the European market (with a focus on France). You will be responsible for modifying these ads so that they appeal to a French-speaking audience, while preserving the original creative style. The content is adapted by translating and adjusting visuals from the source materials to fit the target market.
Main Responsibilities:
• Adapt existing creatives: Edit video ads designed for the US market and adapt them for the French market. This includes:
• Replacing English text with French. You can generate the French text using tools like ChatGPT by providing the video’s context and message requirements.
• Adjust titles, subtitles, and other text elements using translation tools, while ensuring cultural relevance.
• Create hybrid versions: Combine elements from different US ads (scenes, voiceovers, text) to create new versions that suit the French market, all while maintaining the original style and spirit of the ads.
Duties:
• Edit video footage to create high-quality, engaging content for the European market
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives
• Trim footage segments and sequence the video to create a coherent final product
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and special effects to enhance the ad’s effectiveness
• Ensure smooth transitions and logical sequencing in the final video
• Continuously explore and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize workflow efficiency
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
• Proficient in editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with additional software like Adobe Bridge, Capture One, and Maya is a plus
• Strong understanding of post-production techniques, including color grading, audio mixing, and typography
• Excellent attention to detail with creative storytelling skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
• Strong time management skills to meet deadlines
What We Expect:
• Option 1: Fully adapt a US creative for the French market by translating and replacing all visual and text elements (you can use ChatGPT for generating French scripts).
• Option 2: Combine elements from US creatives and adapt them for the French market, making partial adjustments to text, scenes, or voiceovers.
