JOB OVERVIEW

Pigeon Forge Gem Mine is looking for a skilled Shopify developer to migrate our e-commerce store from WooCommerce to Shopify. This is a gig opportunity with potential for long-term collaboration, depending on project success.
Important: We have already built the website on WordPress, so all you need to do is transfer the existing content, products, and functionality to Shopify. The UX and UI design should be similar to our current site but adapted to Shopify’s platform for better performance and usability.
Our online store features jewelry and rock shop merchandise, and it must be integrated with our in-store platform, Epicor Eagle, ensuring real-time inventory and a smooth customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Platform Migration: Transfer all product data, inventory, and customer accounts from WooCommerce to Shopify.
• Website Development: Create a Shopify store with a design similar to our current WordPress site while optimizing for Shopify’s capabilities.
• Content Transfer: Move all product descriptions, images, and website content while ensuring consistency.
• In-Store Integration: Implement Shopify integration with Epicor Eagle or a similar POS system for inventory and sales synchronization.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Ensure all features function correctly, including inventory sync, checkout, and payment processing.
• SEO & Optimization: Maintain existing SEO structure and ensure mobile responsiveness.
Qualifications:
• Must have experience integrating Shopify with POS system.
• Proven experience in Shopify development and WooCommerce migrations.
• SEO expertise for e-commerce sites.
• Ability to communicate effectively and meet project deadlines.
