As a Technical SEO Support Specialist at SEO Brothers, Inc., you will be responsible for achieving and maintaining specific technical SEO crawl scores (95%+) -- in this case using the tool Agency Analytics. By collaborating closely with lead specialists and ensuring you review campaign notes and context, you will ensure that any fixes or changes you implement are aligned with the overall goals of the campaign. RESPONSIBILITIES AND OUTCOMES
> Manage the technical SEO crawl scores for ~350 campaigns (many of which area well above 95% and require little to no work).
> Review and update campaign crawl scores for all campaigns the first few days of every month to understand which campaigns need work.
> Prioritize work based on current score, length of campaign, and any context from the campaign manager or lead specialist.
> Resolve crawl error such broken links, missing meta descriptions, missing image alt tags, issues with canonical tags, robots.txt file issues, unnecessary redirects, etc.
> Innovate on ways to improve certain elements by using plugins or tools (such as a bulk image alt tag updater plugin) to achieve the outcome.
DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES
> Work from your dedicated dashboard in ClickUp to achieve the above outcomes.
> Improve crawl score by fixing technical issues with websites or adjusting minor SEO elements (mainly WordPress, but sometimes Wix, Shopify, Duda, and other CMS)
> Consistently communicate and ask questions to your lead to ensure that you understand the context of each specific campaign or issue and how you should approach things.
> If and when all of the campaigns are above 95% you will be expected to support the campaign team with publishing blog posts, updating meta data based on optimization outlines, or supporting in other areas as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
> Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
> Comfortable with direct communication, seeking clarity, asking for help when needed, and challenging outcomes when necessary.
> Proficiency and comfort in using Loom videos as a communication medium.
> Proficiency and comfort in leveraging ChatGPT and AI to support day-to-day work and improve efficiency.
> A dedicated workstation with a laptop or desktop with at least two screens.
> Reliable and fast internet.
> Experience working with ClickUp, Agency Analytics, Slack, and Loom is a significant asset.
> Working hours must include at least five hours of overlap with AST time zone.
> 2+ years of experience in an SEO role or as a WordPress Web Developer
