JOB OVERVIEW

Are you an architect, landscape architect or experienced 3D designer or drafter looking to advance your career?

We have an opening for a part time experienced 3D designer/architect that is an expert with Sketchup and Autocad. The goal of this position is to provide 32 hours per week long-term employment. Salary will be based on experience and qualifications - with raises, bonuses, and increased responsibility with good performance.

This position will also include flexible work hours, paid vacation, holidays, sick days and 13th month bonus.

The primary work will be building home exteriors and landscapes in sketchup and autocad. For a typical project you would be provided with hand sketches, aerial images, or CAD plans that need to be built in 3D using sketchup. We will share with you our process in sketchup, give you template files, program access and a library of resources to use.

Experience in landscape architecture and design is a big plus! Any experience in architecture and design is good as you will be able to use your design skills and develop designs on some of the projects.

You must have a fast connection speed able to handle large files both uploading and downloading.

Job duties would include:
1. Creating 3D architecture and landscape model of 2D working drawings, reference photos, sketches
2. Amend existing sketch up models based on a mark up drawing
3. Create Autocad plans with labels and dimensions
4. Sheet setup
5. Must be proficient in using Sketchup, able to create clean and tidy models with correct scale for us to work on further. (using groups, components, etc.)
6. Must be able to communicate in English and be able to follow clear instructions
7. Must have experience in post editing 3-D renderings in Lumion, D5 rendering or other post editing softwares.
8. Must be willing to participate in morning coordination calls. Calls typically take place between 8 and 10 am standard eastern time. Calls will be conducted as needed. Typically 1-2 calls per week to review progress and workload.
9. Must be a self starter and self sufficient.
