Role Overview
We’re seeking a highly organized, proactive, and systems-minded Business Development & Growth Associate to support our founder and internal team while helping drive sustainable business growth. This is not a sales role. Instead, this person will focus on improving how we attract, onboard, support, and retain clients; while anticipating the needs of the CEO and team to keep operations running smoothly.
Our company is a mission-driven SaaS platform led by a Senior Software Engineer with a strong commitment to social impact. The ideal candidate will function as a strategic right hand - helping streamline workflows, improve client communication, strengthen our online presence, and ensure thoughtful follow-through across the customer lifecycle.
This role blends business development, client experience, internal operations, and growth strategy, and is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, supporting people, and making things work better.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth Support
• Support business growth by proactively engaging warm leads, including individuals and organizations that sign up on our platform, to guide them through onboarding and increase conversion to paid clients.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with clients after demos, during onboarding, re-engagement periods, and periodic check-ins to ensure they feel supported and informed.
• Send thoughtful, thorough follow-up
• Develop a strong understanding of our product in order to clearly explain features, use cases, and benefits to clients when needed.
Client Experience & Communication
• Schedule and manage CEO and team sales/demo calls, ensuring smooth coordination and preparation.
• Serve as a consistent point of contact for clients during early engagement and onboarding phases.
• Leverage AI tools to draft newsletters and client communications highlighting newly released features, product updates, and team milestones.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, warmth, and clarity in all client-facing communication.
Internal Operations & Team Support
• Anticipate the needs of the CEO and internal team, proactively handling logistics, scheduling, and follow-through.
• Manage internal resources, track tasks, and help ensure projects move forward efficiently.
• Support internal research initiatives that contribute to SEO improvement, content strategy, and growth opportunities.
• Help streamline processes, documentation, and workflows to reduce friction for the team.
Marketing & Growth Enablement
• Schedule and manage social media content aligned with product launches, feature updates, and brand storytelling.
• Assist with research and execution of content ideas that support SEO, discoverability, and inbound growth.

Skills & Qualifications
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity, tone, and follow-through.
• Ability to understand and explain SaaS products in a clear, client-friendly way.
• Comfort using AI tools to enhance productivity (writing, research, summaries, content creation).
• Experience supporting client onboarding, customer success, or business operations is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using collaboration, scheduling, CRM, and project management tools.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple workstreams.
• Growth-oriented mindset with an interest in improving systems and processes.
Work Hours & Availability (Required)
• This role requires full availability from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), Monday through Friday.
• Candidates must be able to work synchronously during these hours to support live meetings, internal coordination, and client communications.
