What You’ll Do:
As a Utilities Specialist, you’ll manage key utility processes with accuracy and determination:
- Set Up New Property Accounts: Create accounts, track details (e.g., start dates, account numbers), and keep everything organized.
- Handle Move-Outs and End-of-Management Accounts: Process changes promptly and keep notes up-to-date.
- Audit Utility Data: Take on projects like reconciling MSD/Trash accounts with tenant ledgers to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Communicate Aggressively and Persistently: Utility companies can be tough, but you’ll stay on top of them to get the job done—because waiting for a callback just isn’t an option.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience with Utility Companies: You know the drill and can handle the hassle without breaking a sweat.
- AppFolio Experience (a big plus!): Familiarity with property management software gives you an edge.
- Self-Starter: You take initiative and don’t need to be told what to do.
