The SEO Blog Writer will be responsible for researching, writing, and optimizing blog content to drive traffic, enhance engagement, and improve search rankings. This role requires strong storytelling skills, a solid understanding of SEO best practices, and a passion for the vacation rental industry.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Write 4-7 high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized blog posts per week (800-1,200 words per post).
Focus on topics related to vacation rentals, luxury travel trends, guest experiences, homeowner insights, and property management. Additional writing for our related companies.
Keyword Research:
Perform thorough keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
Identify target keywords to maximize search visibility and content relevancy.
SEO Optimization:
Craft optimized headlines, meta descriptions, and tags.
Incorporate relevant keywords naturally throughout the content without “keyword stuffing.”
Optimize content structure for readability (headings, subheadings, bullet points, etc.).
Industry Research:
Stay up to date with the vacation rental and luxury travel industry to identify trends, competitor content, and audience interests.
Content Performance Monitoring:
Collaborate with the marketing team to track content performance (traffic, engagement, SEO rankings).
Adjust strategies based on analytics and feedback.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a blog writer, SEO writer, or content creator.
Demonstrated ability to conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices.
Excellent writing, grammar, and editing skills.
Experience with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Surfer SEO (preferred).
Knowledge or passion for the vacation rental, real estate, or luxury travel industry.
Ability to write clear, engaging, and conversational content.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress (a plus).

What We Offer:
