JOB OVERVIEW

Job Expectations:
The Email Marketing Expert will be responsible for creating, executing, and optimizing email campaigns to drive engagement, retention, and sales for our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brand. You will play a pivotal role in improving our email strategy, enhancing customer experience through tailored messaging, and maximizing ROI.

Scope of Work:


Email
Campaign Management:
Create, schedule, and execute email campaigns in Klaviyo.
Write compelling, on-brand email copy and design aesthetically pleasing layouts that align with our brand identity.
Segment email lists to ensure relevant, personalized communication.
Flow Optimization:
Audit and overhaul existing email flows (e.g., welcome series, post-purchase, win-back, cart abandonment).
Design and implement new email flows to increase customer lifecycle value.
SMS Campaigns:
Develop and implement SMS marketing strategies to complement email efforts.
Ensure messaging remains consistent and engaging across all channels.
Data Analysis:
Track and analyze performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion rates, revenue per campaign/flow, etc.).
Provide actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
Strategy Development:
Develop and execute email marketing strategies tailored for eCommerce growth.
Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices to keep campaigns innovative.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Growth in email revenue as a percentage of total sales.
Improvement in open and click-through rates.
Reduction in email unsubscribes.
Increased conversion rates from email and SMS campaigns.
Successful implementation of new flows and optimization of existing ones.
Requirements:

Proven expertise in Klaviyo, including advanced flow setup and segmentation.
Strong skills in email copywriting and design (bonus if you’re skilled in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
Solid understanding of eCommerce marketing strategies, specifically for DTC brands.
Experience implementing SMS marketing campaigns alongside email efforts.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Attention to detail and a creative eye for crafting on-brand campaigns.
