The Role:
Are you passionate about creating visually stunning, user-friendly websites and compelling graphics? Do you enjoy enhancing user experiences and showcasing your talent to the world? This role focuses primarily on UI/UX design and graphic design, with opportunities to contribute to web development and content creation. As we continue to expand our online presence and marketing efforts, we need someone who can turn ideas into beautiful, functional designs. If this sounds like you, read on!
Key Responsibilities:
Your primary focus will be on UI/UX design and graphic design. For UI/UX design, you will design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for websites and applications, develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows, conduct user research to refine designs and improve usability, and ensure a consistent user experience across all digital platforms. For graphic design, you will create visually appealing graphics and layouts for websites, social media, and marketing materials, design or edit images using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva, and ensure all designs align with brand guidelines.
Secondary responsibilities include optional contributions to web design and content creation. For web design, you may develop responsive and user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, collaborate with developers to implement interactive elements, and optimize websites for speed, scalability, and SEO. For content creation, you may edit and produce video content for social media, add animations and text overlays to videos, and clean up audio for improved video quality.
Qualifications:
The required qualifications include proficiency in UI/UX design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch, strong graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX and graphic design work, an understanding of responsive design principles, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a passion for creativity and user-centric design.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web design, and familiarity with social media trends and content creation.
