We are seeking a talented Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs that align with our clients' needs and objectives. Must be an SME in organizational and leadership development with an understanding of strategic goals. Comfortable with level 2 & 3 customization (designing 30-100% of training and activities both in-person and virtually).
Responsibilities:
Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop learning objectives
Design instructional strategies and learning activities to achieve desired outcomes
Develop engaging course content, including text, graphics, videos, and interactive elements
Utilize authoring tools and learning management systems to create online courses
Develop assessments and evaluation tools to measure learner performance
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance
Stay up-to-date on instructional design trends and technologies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field
5 years of experience in instructional design
Proficiency in authoring tools (Advanced PowerPoint skills)
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to be proactive
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with offsites and executive presence and presentation skills
Knowledge of adult learning principles
Proficiency in additional authoring tools (Adobe InDesign)
Experience with Powerpoint, Canva and Thinkific
Experience with basic video editing
$15-20/hr based on experience
