Sr. On-page SEO Specialist: $5 to $7 per hour

We have been a growing website design and content marketing agency in Minnesota, USA, since 2009. We seek a WordPress on-page SEO expert to join our content marketing team.

Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO, focusing on on-page optimization with WordPress sites, content strategy, and website analytics. ***Must show a proven strategy (with examples) for ranking web pages on Google Overview/AI Mode, Perplexity, and ChatGPT.*** This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to enhance our clients' online presence. You must send us the reports of a few SEO projects you have worked on. Work from 8pm to Midnight PH time zone.

Key Responsibilities: On-Page Optimization
1) Conduct thorough on-page SEO audits (using screaming frog and other tools) to identify areas for improvement.
2) Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images for search engines.
3) Implement internal linking strategies to improve site structure and user navigation.
4) Ensure all on-page elements adhere to SEO best practices and guidelines.
5) Rank websites on ---------- /AI Overview/AI Mode, Perplexity, and ChatGPT.

Content Strategy:
1) Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with client objectives.
2) Conduct keyword research to identify target keywords and phrases.
3) Optimize existing content and recommend new opportunities based on keyword research and competitive analysis.

Technical SEO:
1) Work with web developers to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
2) Identify and fix technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, duplicate content, and site speed.
3) Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
4) Set up GMB accounts, promote, and monitor KPI for targeted results.

Reporting and Analysis:
1) Prepare regular reports on SEO performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
2) Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and conversion data to measure the effectiveness of SEO efforts.
3) Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Collaboration:
1) Work closely with the SEO team, content creators, web developers, and other relevant stakeholders.
2) Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry developments.
3) Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative SEO strategies.

Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in WordPress on-page SEO, with a strong understanding of SEO best practices. Must show a proven strategy (with examples) for ranking web pages on ---------- /Google Overview/AI Mode, Perplexity, and ChatGPT. Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles is a plus. An English or related major is also a plus.

This is a freelance position with up to 20 hours per week. We pay $5 to $7 an hour, depending on the quality of work, speed, and reliability.

You should be able to handle projects and deliver high-quality work under minimal supervision. You must also send us a daily report detailing completed and ongoing tasks.

You should be detail-oriented and available for frequent Zoom and Skype calls to discuss projects.
