Job Summary:
We are seeking an innovative and strategic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing efforts. The CMO will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong background in SaaS marketing, a focus on user journey, and expertise in all aspects of digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
Oversee the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media,
Enhance the user journey from initial contact to subscription and beyond, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience.
Drive customer acquisition and retention through innovative marketing initiatives tailored for SaaS products.
Lead market research efforts to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs within the SaaS industry.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and strategy alignment.
Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum ROI.
Analyze marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to keep TaxLeopard at the forefront of the market.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
Proven experience as a CMO or in a senior marketing leadership role, preferably in a SaaS or fintech environment.
Strong understanding of SaaS marketing channels and strategies.
Deep expertise in all aspects of digital marketing, including user acquisition, conversion optimization, and customer retention.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a marketing team.
Creative mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of the Australian tax landscape and experience marketing to sole traders is a plus.
