Role Summary
The Financial Coordinator’s role is vital to supporting the company's internal operations and assisting the Leadership team in maximizing its growth through sound financial decision-making.
Some of this role's tasks include providing financial reports to the leadership team, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling financial statements. Throughout all of these interactions, the Accounting & Payroll Coordinator must maintain a high level of professionalism and seek to grow their knowledge in general accounting practices.
The Accountant & Payroll Coordinator will also assist with annual budgeting and forecasting, and will work closely with the leadership team to ensure the financial health of the organization. This position is also responsible for processing payroll semi-monthly in a timely and accurate manner.
Success in this role includes assisting the Administrative team, taking off responsibilities off tea
Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements
• Prepare and reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including creating financial projections and tracking actual results
• Prepare financial reports for management and clients, including monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Maintain accurate financial records, including tracking expenses and revenues
• Work with management team to identify areas for financial improvement and recommend solutions
• Provide support for audit preparation and assist with tax return preparation
• Reconcile revenue reports with client accounts
• Process payroll semi-monthly
• Working during U.S. Hours 8am and 5pm Central Standard Time
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business finance, accounting, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant certificate
• 3-5 years experience in Accounting and Payroll
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks and Excel
• Personable with great communication skills
• Able to receive and apply feedback in the pursuit of Excellence
• Strong, pro-active work ethic
Compensation
• Salaried position; between $750 - $900 USD per month, commensurate on experience
• Paid Time Off for Pilipino & United States holidays
