THE ROLE:
We're looking for a Google Ads specialist who can own campaign performance end to end. You'll manage paid search, display, and local/maps campaigns for a portfolio of home service clients—from strategy and keyword research through to optimization and results.
This is a hands-on-keyboard role. You won't be sitting on client calls or building reports in spreadsheets. Account managers handle client communication, and our reporting tools handle the dashboards. Your job is to make campaigns perform.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Build, launch, and continuously optimize Google Ads campaigns (search, display, local/maps) for home service clients
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-intent opportunities
- Write compelling ad copy and test variations to improve click-through and conversion rates
- Monitor budgets, bids, and quality scores daily; adjust strategy based on performance data
- Set up and maintain conversion tracking through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Collaborate with in-house WordPress developers on landing page improvements that support campaign goals
Identify opportunities to scale winning campaigns and flag underperformers early
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience: 3+ years managing Google Ads campaigns
- Local focus: Proven results with local or home service verticals
- Analytical mindset: Comfortable digging into data to diagnose issues and spot opportunities
- Tools: Hands-on proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads Editor
- Ad copywriting: You can write concise, benefit-driven ad copy that fits character limits and drives action
- Communication: Fluent written and spoken English
- Work style: Self-directed and reliable—you manage your own time and flag blockers before they become problems
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with GoHighLevel, AgencyAnalytics, or WhatConverts
- Familiarity with AI tools for ad copy, keyword research, or workflow automation (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
- Google Ads certification
- Experience managing multi-location or franchise campaigns
