As we continue to expand our global presence, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a key role in our financial management and growth strategies.
Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy:
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
Provide leadership in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Present financial performance to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Budget Management:
Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
Implement cost-control measures while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Cash Flow Management:
Optimize cash flow by managing working capital and overseeing treasury functions.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize liquidity and minimize financial risks.
Financial Decision Support:
Provide financial insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making.
Conduct financial analysis and modeling for business initiatives.
Audit and Compliance:
Manage the audit process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
Investment Strategies:
Collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial analysis for decision-making.
Optimize the financial structure to support business growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within the fashion or e-commerce industry.
- Strong financial acumen with a track record of successful financial management.
- Excellent calculation skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with Shopify
- Worked for a company that did a minimum of €10 million in sales on a yearly basis
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to overall business strategy.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
