Job Summary:
We're looking for a Senior Digital Designer who has a strong eye for design, loves coming up with original ideas, and enjoys creating digital experiences that people genuinely connect with.
In this role, you'll lead the creative direction for websites and turning ideas into polished, engaging designs through thoughtful layouts, typography, animation and interaction. While a solid understanding of UX principles is important, this role is centred on visual creativity and design execution rather than user research, wireframing or UX strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project goals, business requirements and user needs.
- Create high-quality website designs, UX mockups and wireframes that balance creativity, usability and commercial outcomes.
- Design interactive, high-fidelity prototypes in Figma and use Figma Motion to communicate user flows, interactions and micro-animations.
- Explore and present creative concepts, iterating designs based on client and user feedback.
- Review the development team's work throughout the build process to ensure the final implementation aligns closely with the approved designs and maintains a high standard of visual quality.
- Clearly communicate design decisions, creative rationale and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Design engaging graphics and creative assets for the company's social media channels and marketing campaigns when required.
-Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools and technologies, continually improving the quality of our creative output and user experience.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in UX design, with a strong focus on website design.
- Highly regarded: Strong experience in Ecommerce and publishing websites
- Strong portfolio showcasing your UX design work, with examples of projects that were later developed.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate directly with Clients.
- Proven ability to work from ambiguous or unclear client instructions to create high-quality UX mockups.
- Proficient with design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Adobe XD or Sketch.
