Profile Description

I am an employee of the Supreme Court of the Philippines designated as Court Stenographer III. I am also currently a fourth year Juris Doctor at Philippine Law School. As part of my duty as court stenographer, I will be on duty in court hearings, take down notes of the court proceedings most especially the manifestations, and objections of the counsels, and the testimonies made by the witnesses on the witness stand. I also draft court orders in open court during court hearing and the sentences of the Judge for the accused who will be subjected for promulgation. In view therof, I often made some legal research on laws and some cases decided by the Justices of the Supreme Court which I will be using as legal basis on the orders that I am drafting. More so, as court stenographer, I also made transcript of setemographic notes on the testimonies made by the witnesses and the counsels during court hearing.

Furthermore, as a fourth year Juris Doctor student, I also read bulk of laws and cases decided by the Supreme Court and made case digests on it. Considering my knowledge about the law and the cases, and the subjects that I underwent in law school, I also know how to draft pleadings such as complaint, answer, reply and motions. Likewise, I also have an experience in drafting affidavits. During my third year in law school, I underwent Clinical Legal Education Program which is one of the subjects and requirements for us to take the bar examination in the furure. Hence, I conducted some legal consultations and with that, I provided them some legal advices. I also assisted them in drafting their pleadings for their complaints.

Meanwhile, my bachelor's degree is Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management. Before I work in court, I was previously employed in a bank as a bookkeper. Hence, I also have an experience in accounting and bookeeping daily transactions.

Considring my experience in legal research and paralegal, I believe that I can contribute a lot in the companiesa and law firms when it comes to legal matters.
