Working as a Passenger Service Agent, you will engage to hundreds of people everyday. Asking for directions and about the products and services offered by the airline. Irate passengers are unavoidable as there are guests that are not fully aware of the terms and condition and policies of the airline. As a Passenger Service Agent, I have to be able to quickly adapt and adjust in the situation. I stayed composed, relaxed and calm addressing the issue.
Experience: 1 - 2 years
I'm working as a passenger service agent in an airline where it has only 25 minutes of ground time. Every minute is very important. Every move or procedures has an allotted time that you need to reach. Working in a fast-paced environment is exciting and fun as you need to target this procedure in a specific period of time. Every day is always pressure. You encounter different types of customers that you need to engage with. You need to address the queries and concerns of the passengers in just a span of time. The acceptance of the passenger at the check-in counter should just be 30s-60s.
Experience: 1 - 2 years
Working in the aviation industry needs to have a skill of "Problem Solving". As I have worked as a Passenger Service Agent, you need to be accurate and quick to solve the problem of every guest you encounter. I, as a Passenger Service Agent, always offer the best product that suits to the passenger.
Experience: 1 - 2 years
Working in the aviation industry needs teamwork. This work cannot be done by one person. It needs group of people in order to perform the operation. With teamwork, you are away from discrepancies and mistakes in the operation. The camaraderie should be there and should be understanding with each other.
Experience: 1 - 2 years
Every day is pressure. In the airline that I have worked with, it only has 25 minutes of ground time. Every move has an allotted time. Acceptance of a guest at the check-in counter should only be 30s-60s. You need to monitor always your own Key performance index. When the aircraft has arrived, you need to deplane 180 passengers in just 5 minutes. 8 minutes is the maximum. You also need to board all the passengers in just 5 minutes. 8 minutes is the maximum. Delays are frustrating to be honest, but i find it challenging and fun, because it will really test your thinking skills and ability to solve the problems of the guests
“For years, I maxed out my hours, got burnt out, and the quality of my work would start to go down. I decided to take the leap, hire correctly, and now it frees up my time to focus on growing the business.”
