Pat AD here — Editorial design nerd. Trainer by trade. Deadline chaser. Output hygiene advocate.
I got my start in 2019 designing pages for newspapers across the America—hundreds of them, actually. Day in, day out, I lived and breathed Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, with a healthy side of cloud platforms like Amazon Workspaces, Citrix, and Naviga. Fast-paced? Absolutely. Chaotic? Sometimes. Fun? Always.
In 2023, I leveled up to the Training Team—same grind, different hat. Now I guide new hires through the ins and outs of editorial design, helping them get comfy with the tools of the trade (hello, InDesign and Photoshop ????). I also keep a close eye on their work through quality control checks, making sure the designs are clean, consistent, and on point.
I build Training Needs Analyses like a detective—spotting skill gaps, workflow hiccups, or even behavioral quirks that get in the way of good design. Then I map it all out in a training outline built to solve those real-world issues, not just tick boxes.
Who am I at work?
Detail-oriented but chill. Deadline-driven but not a buzzkill. A low-key AI geek. I'm all about clean files, clever layouts, and leveling up—every project, every trainee, every time.
If you're looking for someone who can design, teach, troubleshoot, and vibe with the team—you just found 'em!

I've had a knack for video editing back in college, I still do montages from time to time, it's never gone but definitely trainable.
