I am a dreamer with passion, and has a good sense of communication skills. I am John Mark Gonzales - 4th year Civil Engineering student, and an experienced customer service representative.
I graduated senior high school at Bais City National Science High School with outstanding awards and being rank 1 in our class. I was recognized to receive an excellence award in Mathematics, and research. Before, I was also competitive in participating to several competitions in our division. I joined debate contest, writing events, and quiz bowls. In fact I was an editor-in-chief in our school publication for 2 consecutive years. During college, I became a news correspondent in the official school publication "The NORSUnian". These, I think, are not just a mere experience but a stepping stone to what I have become now - a good communicator with a good sense of leadership.
During my third year in college, I worked as a CSR in a telco. account in order to sustain myself financially. Though, I encountered hardships since I need to juggle it with my academic responsibilities but those experiences are worth it, because I've learned a lot. It honed my technical skills, I became more computer literate, and more importantly, I became more proficient and exposed to some software tools and applications.
As I'm getting closer in pursuing my career, setbacks are really inevitable. Unfortunately, recently I have d ---------- to stop my studies in order to prioritized my brother's education. But life doesn't end there. That's why I am seeking for opportunities which is relevant to what I am capable of where I can sustain financial needs, and improve my knowledge and skills.
