Hello! I’m Michael,
"I build edits that earn the watch where pacing, silence, and a single well-held frame do more work than any effect ever could."
I've spent 4+ years in post-production working across brand films, documentaries, commercial campaigns, and short-form social content. My process starts before the first cut understanding the story before shaping it.
What I care about isn't just making something look clean. It's making sure every edit serves the narrative. The pacing, the music, the colour nothing is accidental.
What I bring:
I push back when something would hurt the story and clients keep coming back because of that, not despite it. Clear communication, no ghost acts, and I treat every project like it actually matters.
• Experience : 4+ years
• Projects delivered : 300+
• Turnaround : Fast, no cut corners
• Revisions : Until it's right
Works well for:
Brands that want content with a point of view. Filmmakers who need a second set of eyes on structure. Agencies with tight deadlines and zero tolerance for mediocre. Creators ready to take their content seriously.
Editing tools & experience:
Adobe Premiere Pro:
My main editing environment for 6+ years. Fast multicam workflows, nested sequences, and deep integration with the Adobe ecosystem for client-ready exports.
DaVinci Resolve:
Go-to for color grading. I work in the Color page daily node-based grading, custom LUT creation, HDR finishing, and Fairlight for audio post.
After Effects:
Lower thirds, kinetic typography, logo animations, and compositing. I build motion graphics systems that scale across entire campaigns, not just one-off titles.
Audition / Audacity:
Noise reduction, dialogue cleanup, music ducking, and SFX layering. Clean audio is half the edit — I don't leave it as an afterthought.
CapCut Pro:
Fast-turnaround Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts. Speed ramps, trending transitions, and subtitle styling optimized for vertical formats and mobile-first viewing.
Final Cut Pro:
Used for Mac-native workflows and agency projects that require FCP delivery. Magnetic timeline, multicam syncing, and ProRes mastering for broadcast-quality output.
