I'm Jhon Glenn Fabul, a Computer Science graduate (Magna Cum Laude, Ateneo de Davao University) and a full-time remote software engineer based in Davao City, Philippines (GMT+8).

Over the past year I have worked as a contract engineer for two international SaaS companies, one in the Netherlands and one in the United States, building and maintaining production web applications end to end.

MY STACK, AND HOW I ACTUALLY USE IT
• TypeScript. My primary language, front to back. Shared types between the API and the client, strict mode, and schema validation at the request boundary.
• Next.js and React. App Router front ends: dashboards, calendars, content composers and authenticated member areas. React 19, server and client components, Tailwind CSS for the design system.
• Node.js. Hono and Express REST APIs, plus long running worker services kept separate from the web process.
• PostgreSQL and Supabase. Relational schema design, Drizzle ORM migrations kept at staging and production parity, row level security with default deny policies for multi-tenant isolation, and Supabase auth and storage.
• Redis and BullMQ. Job queues for scheduled work, retries, notifications and cron workflows, with a queue dashboard so failures are visible instead of silent.
• AI APIs. Anthropic Claude, OpenAI and xAI wired behind product features, with multi provider fallback and per run spend caps.
• THIRD-PARTY APIS AND INTEGRATIONS. One of my strongest areas. Apify, Calendly, Apollo, the Meta API, OAuth for Meta, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and Google Ads APIs, Mollie and HelixPay payments, Resend email, and custom WordPress plugins. I am comfortable reading unfamiliar API documentation and wiring a service in properly, including authentication, token lifecycle, webhooks and error handling.
• React Native. Cross platform mobile app with real time inventory sync across staff devices.
• Tooling. Git, Docker, monorepos, staging environments, and written handover documentation.

WHAT I HAVE SHIPPED
• Check Socials (Netherlands). Built the content engine end to end, including a pipeline that researches keywords through the Google Ads API, generates articles, and publishes them directly into client WordPress and Vercel sites via Google Search Console verified integrations. Also OAuth publishing for five networks, Apify and Calendly integrations, Google Analytics 4 reporting, queue backed scheduling and Mollie subscription billing.
• VAVA, Cain Collective (United States). A paid technical audit across 335 commits, then a 30 day stabilization sprint: hardened multi-tenant row level security, made member sign in reliable, resolved duplicate member records, added AI spend guardrails, built out their lead funnel using the Apollo API, and shipped an admin analytics and system health dashboard.
• Earlier work. A community court booking platform, a React Native and Supabase inventory system that cut stock tracking errors by roughly 80%, and a university wide event platform with automated email and online payments.

HOW I WORK
Short written updates in plain language as work ships. I work on a local or staging copy and verify before and after, never experimenting against live data. I write documentation as I go so the next developer is not left guessing.

Available full time (40 hours/week), 8 AM to 5 PM Philippine time, with good overlap into Australia, EU and US hours. I am looking for full-stack or software engineering roles where I can own features end to end.
