Profile Description

Prepare and format digital artwork for offset, digital, flexographic, or screen printing.
Check and correct files for print issues including image resolution, color consistency, bleed, trim, and font embedding.
Perform color corrections and proofing to ensure accurate reproduction.
Create and manage impositions, trapping, and plate layouts as per the print method.
Collaborate with designers, clients, and print production teams to ensure artwork meets project and printer specifications.
Operate prepress software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Acrobat, and RIP software (e.g., Kodak Prinergy, EFI Fiery).
Manage file storage and version control, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Conduct soft and hard proofing and prepare mock-ups when necessary.
Proficiency in graphic design and prepress software.
Strong understanding of printing processes (offset, digital, flexo, etc.).
Attention to detail with excellent color vision and layout skills.
Ability to troubleshoot file issues and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Good communication skills for working with teams and clients.
Familiarity with PDF workflows, ICC profiles, and file standards.
